This is great! It never gets too hot because there is a thermometer to help you control the temperature. It is small in size with a deep enough well that you won't have to use a ton of cooking oil. Its easy to clean and the stage one drain (pre- towel) is awesome!

I fried 2 boneless chicken breast, they were so golden brown. I seasoned them well, soaked them in buttermilk and a egg wash.

The pot can hold a decent amount of food, but you initially don't want to put too much in to fry because it will drop the temperature a great deal and you will have greasy results. Also, there will be a lot of splatter if your oil level is too high. I can put about 6 whole chicken wings at a time or 30 pieces of shrimp.
Everything for the most part seems sturdy.

I use this pot with my BC SQ14 outdoor burner. I picked it over the aluminum pot because SS is better quality. SS is easier to clean and for this combo, I can just wipe with a soapy sponge to get it squeaky clean. SS is much more expensive though.

Similar to those fryers found at the mall but at 1/4 the price. This will do a better job because you put this over your range or cooktop. And you to put this in the dishwasher when you are done.

This makes frying super easy. I like the splash guard and the built in rack which allows oil to drip off the food after it's done. It also allows you to use much less oil if making small batches of fried food, like for 1-2 people.

This little fryer is GREAT! The metal is nice and heavy (Thick) I don't have any problems with the lid falling off (As long as I align the small gap in the tab on the pan) The size is perfect for me. I really like the drain feature in the lid and the lid design that curves in to minimize splatter. I have used this for shrimp, tots, tempura shrimp and wings (wings seam to take a long time) so far so good.

This is a great item to have for cooking pasta and blanching veges. The basket weave is tight enough that nothing falls through. The holding rack to sit in on the side of the pot to drain is an added bonus.

The ease of cleaning is another plus, it fits in the dishwasher, should there be food that sticks a five minute soak in the sink with a clothing dryer sheet dislodges any food clinging to the mesh and then I put it in the dishwasher.
