Normal rolls are easy to do with a bamboo mat, but inside out rolls are hard. This makes rice on the outside rolls as easy as 1,2, 3. Also , it handles making small , normal or extra large rolls with all that filling! The preset length does not bother me. Because I can make 2 rolls in the time it used to make one long one.

I am giving this as part of a birthday gift to my son. He and his wife love sushi. Thought it looked like a good idea. Nice product.

Easy to use only drawback is that the rolls are not super long but I can live with that. Would highly recommend this product.

No complaints about shipping and wrapping and it was a great way to learn how to make homemade Sushi..took a few tries but My son made some of the greatest sushi I've had in years..This is a winner if one follows the direction..make sure you use the sushi rice as the recipe states and after a few tries you will become a Sushi Master or Mistress in a quick time.

This does make a good sushi roll.It is pretty easy to set up - and is pretty self explanatory about what you need to do.

This little thing makes a shorter roll than is made using the standard bamboo mat, but, so what? Just make two, or more!They are far prettier than the rolls I make with a mat. And everything is cleaner and neater: my hands, my counter top, my floor, my clothing, my floor, my back yard (LOL!). A great little tool for the occasional sushi maker.

Works as described, easy cleanup, I have to trim my nori to suit it but it makes rolling a LOT easier for me (I'm just not very coordinated with a bamboo mat)!

I got this as a gift for my dad for Christmas this year so I have not had the opportunity to use the set. I did look inside the box and the pieces are great quality for the price.

Unlike other reviewers, I prefer the smaller roll size - I can only eat so much sushi in one sitting and this allows me to make several different types of roll. Each finished roll can be three thin pieces or two thick pieces.I find it worthwhile with this gadget.

After an hour or two of practice I believe one could make company-worthy rolls. The "failures" are delicious. Srichacha, mayo, and tuna make surprisingly simple and tasty "spicy tuna" type rolls. Wasabi in place of srichacha is also a favourite.

So easy to clean, but I want to take a moment to give you a pro tip. When using the mats to make your rolls; put the mat into a gallon freezer bag. It helps the roll from sticking and clean up is a SNAP!

Took me awhile to get used to it... If you are not accustomed to making sushi this gadget may be a little of a challenge. But, if you have made sushi before than this will be a blessing, It just takes a little practice. It is well made, has not been a problem since I bought it. Quality wise it could have been made a little better. Other than that, I like it!
